Audi UK has announced that Jon Zammett, its Head of Public Relations, is retiring at the end of June after 18 years in the role at the German premium brand. Jon, who joined the Volkswagen Group in 1991 as Head of Public Relations at SEAT UK, has been a key player in the transformation of the Audi brand image in the UK and has delivered well over 300 new model press launches since January 2000.
A career PR specialist for 40 years, Jon has introduced an array of innovations and built influential relationships for the Audi brand.
“I’m enormously proud of our achievements at Audi over the last 18 years and I owe a great deal to my dedicated Press and PR team and all those who supported and collaborated with us to deliver this dramatic transformation. We have always focused our attention on making headlines and creating ‘money-can’t-buy’ occasions, and Audi will continue to be long remembered for this kind of unique saliency,” commented Jon.

Audi will commence its recruitment for Jon’s replacement and his successor will be announced in due course.
