Vikram Pawah has been named the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BMW Australia and New Zealand. The appointment has come into effect since August 1, 2018.
Vikram was the CEO as well as the President of BMW India prior to this move. He has also been promoted to the position of Chairman of BMW India.
Hans-Christian Baertels, Director, Finance and Administrationof BMW Group India will take over as the President until a replacement is announced.

Vikram Pawah joined BMW 2017, with a vast experience of 25 years in the automotive sector. Prior to joining BMW, Pawah has served in various leadership roles at Honda Cars Australia and India as well as Harley-Davidson India.
Rumours have been doing rounds that Rakesh Srivastava, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyundai Motor India is being eyed to fill Pawah’s role at BMW India.
