Ford Motor Company announced that Ziad “Z” Ojakli, group vice president, government and community relations, has elected to leave the company effective July 15.
Since joining the company in 2004, Ojakli has overseen Ford’s global government affairs and its philanthropic arm, the Ford Motor Company Fund. His work to establish Ford as a trusted source to governments around the world and his support of the company’s global community efforts will continue to serve the company in the future.
“Z has been a valuable member of the Ford team for nearly 15 years,” said Executive Chairman Bill Ford. “During this time, he has been instrumental in driving global policy outcomes and leading philanthropic programs that support Ford’s vision for growth and a better world.”
For the immediate future, the work of government and community will continue under the leadership of Stephen Biegun. Ojakli’s permanent replacement will be the subject of a future announcement.
